Western White Glove is the most recent addition to what is already Canada’s largest specialized furniture network. Our asset-based model is unique in providing both first and last mile delivery, offering unprecedented oversight into the safe handling of your products.
Our delivery teams are currently active in all major Canadian city centres including, but not limited to Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. Some remote locations may not be accessible through our service.
There are three service levels to choose from:
- Threshold Delivery | Customer is greeted at door, porch, garage or dock. For condos/ apartments, customer is greeted at the lobby or loading bay.
- Inside Delivery | Customer may instruct delivery team to position the packaged product in a room of their choice.
- White Glove Delivery | Customer may instruct delivery team to position the product in a room of choice, unpack, wipe clean, and remove any associated packaging. Assembly is available upon request.
Service level must be clearly listed on the BOL along with any notable assessorial issues that might arise. If no service level is listed, it will be assumed that a Threshold Delivery is taking place. Service level can only be altered by the shipper, customers are not be able to request changes to the service level once the order is in-transit.
Communication & tracking
At all service levels, we communicate closely with your customer, from the moment the order arrives, to when our driver is nearing their home. It starts with a call from our friendly booking team, then, drivers are equipped with customer contact information to relay updates between deliveries.
We offer an enterprise tracking solution which allows your team to see all ongoing, upcoming and completed deliveries at a glance. This system also offers automated reporting and data export, so you can stay on top of your operation.
